With 80 years of experience, our customers also expect us to conduct expert repairs and overhauls whilst delivering nothing other than first-class quality. At EMRI we share our knowledge internally by providing our staff with training.
For a number of years, we have been sharing the same knowledge with our customers who buy our voltage regulators or have regular experience of our way of working. This is something we do by offering generator training in our new training room at our premises in Ede.
Besides the newly equipped training room, we also have a completely new testing rig which can be used to demonstrate how generators operate as well as help trainees gain practical experience. This unique testing rig offers the possibility of demonstrating the behaviour of generators under a range of circumstances such as:
• island operation
• parallel operation
• non-parallel operation
• generator in soft-start mode
• operation of voltage regulators and how they affect the behaviour of the generator
• the effect of a defective diode and/or short circuit in the windings
