Coolwave Processing, based in Wageningen, the Netherlands, has made a big leap forward in conserving fresh juices.
With the help of a pulsed electric field, PurePulse preserves juices to extend shelf life. By perfecting a proven technique, the PurePulse can acchieve the same safetey levels of preserving, while in the same time maintaining taste and vitamins.
The pulsed electric field has a current between 20kV and 40kV. The control of this system is done via a microcontroller. To control currents with such a high voltage and to transfer this to a microcontroller, in a reliable and stable manner is not an easy task. That’s why Coolwave Processing has contracted EMRI to solve this problem.
EMRI Electronics designed and build a interface to monitor the pulsed electric field, read the data and control it via a microcontroller.
